Getting started

Set up in one evening. Two minutes a day after that. This short guide shows you what to feed bionico, how to read it each morning, and how to bring your doctor along.

bionico's AI features are invite-based during the founding period. Not a member yet? Request access — this page will be waiting when your invitation arrives.

How bionico works — one minute

bionico builds a private model of your biology — a digital health twin — from data you already have. You feed it once, keep it topped up with almost no effort, and it pays you back every morning:

Morning readiness

One ring against your own typical range, and three plain words: Ready, Ease off, Recover.

A twin you can ask

Ask anything. It answers from your own data — your readings, your labs, your week — and remembers the thread.

The Monday letter

Your week's patterns, connected to current research chosen for your profile.

Yours, entirely. Swiss-built and Swiss-hosted: your data lives in Zurich under Swiss data-protection law and the GDPR. No ads, never sold. Delete everything from inside the app at any time. The details, in plain words: privacy & security.

Step 1 · Set up your account — five minutes

1
Install bionico from the App Store

iPhone required; an Apple Watch or any wearable that syncs into Apple Health (Oura, Whoop, Garmin…) makes bionico much better, but isn't required.

2
Create your account with your invited e-mail address

Your access is tied to the exact address your invitation was sent to. Signing up with e-mail and password? We send a confirmation link — open it, then sign in. That is expected — it confirms the address is yours.

3
Allow notifications

bionico is quiet by design — it speaks up for your morning readiness and little else.

4
Connect Apple Health

Grant access when asked. Steps, sleep and heart data flow in automatically — nothing more to do.

The one rule that matters. If you use Sign in with Apple, choose "Share My Email" — not "Hide My Email". A hidden address can't be matched to your invitation. Already happened? Reply to your invite and it's fixed in a minute.

Step 2 · Feed your twin — fifteen minutes, once

Your blood panel — the biggest single win

Upload your most recent lab report under your profile picture; a photo works too. No recent panel? Ask your doctor for a copy — it's your data and you're entitled to it.

Your wearable

Already connected if it writes into Apple Health.

Your basics

Age, goal, medications, conditions — two minutes that give every number its context.

Your DNA — optional

If you've ever done a genetic test, import the file on your phone under profile → Import genetics. It's read on the device and discarded; only interpreted findings are stored.

Start small. One blood panel plus your phone's health data is enough. The twin gets sharper with every addition.

Step 3 · The rhythm

TodayYour readiness ring and this week's letter.
TwinYour body as systems, each with a score and headroom.
MealsPoint the camera at a plate; see how it fits you.
MoveA week of sessions shaped by this morning's readiness.
AskTalk to your twin. It remembers the conversation.

Morning, with your coffee: open Today. During the day, when useful: photograph a plate, ask your twin, log a session. Monday, five minutes: your letter is waiting.

Bring your doctor along

Under your profile you can generate a clinician report — labs with sources, medications, wearable trends — and share it as a link that expires and that you can revoke. You see when it's opened. Decisions stay where they belong, with your clinician: bionico advises, it never diagnoses.

The founding period

Free through 31 December 2026 — no card on file, nothing renews by itself. Ask allows 50 messages a day and everyone shares a monthly energy budget; hitting a limit means you're actually using it.
